Annyeong haseyo yeorobun! Hi Everyone. It's been a while since the last time I've updated my blog so I'm planning to make it up to you. PAGASA officially announced the start of rainy seasons, what do you feel about it? Well for me I'm not yet ready I'm just starting to feel my summer vacation tapos biglang ganito. I was actually planning to go for another beach hopping but then wala naman akong kasama so might as well I just scratched out the idea of going to a beach. But I love rain though, a certified pluviophile here.

So how did you spend your vacation? Did you go out-of-town with your family? Hang-out with your friends or even simply a staycation in your house? Staying in the house all throughout your vacation is not a bad idea after all. It depends on you whether you will make it so productive or you'll just sleep all day. And for me I can do balance both, seriously. I really want to spend my vacation by going outside but it's my mind and my body that keeps on telling me that you must enjoy it inside your house, get enough sleep and be productive. But I just finished my internship so might as well I give myself a reward right? Ugh sometimes (no most of the time) I don't really understand myself and my decisions in life. Since I've finally finished my OJT I have all the time for myself so I decided to watched Descendants of the Sun. If you're a certified Korean drama addict then I know for sure that you didn't missed the chance to watch it and join the DOTS fever.

Some of my friends flooded my Facebook news feed sharing their feels and emotions about DOTS, I actually knew that this drama was totally a success ever since the pilot episode aired in Korea mid-February this year. Everyone has fallen in love with the characters most especially to the lead couples. I tried to watched the first episode last month but then na-stucked na ako dun hindi na ako umusad. I don't know if I'm just so busy or I am not in the mood to finished it. But now I decided to watched it and see what's the magic behind this drama that everyone is totally hooked with it. After two consecutive sleepless nights I finally know the reason why this drama deserves the spotlight.

THE STORY

A love-line between a soldier and a doctor, seems interesting right? But the good thing about the story of this show is that they can balance the dramatic side, humorous content, sweetness and action elements for each episodes. I must say that it's an all in one package. The story about a man who is a soldier fell in love with a surgeon doctor; two soldiers who deeply in love with each other but keeps on breaking apart because of the female character's father- let's be true with this it is just a "common" or predictable storyline specially in K-drama world but this TV series proved that it's beyond what the people can expect to it and the thing is there's no love triangles,no chaebol-heir and the typical Cinderella story (thank goodness!).
Oh plus the fact that it was written by the popular writer of Secret Garden, Gentleman's Dignity, The Heirs etc. Kim Eun Sook (I admit I'm an avid fan of her works).

THE LOCATIONS

Who wouldn't fall in love with this scenery right? As far I know, the production shot a lot of scenes in Greece which made the drama more appealing to the eyes of the viewers. And also you can feel the cinematic side of it because of the locations.

THE DIALOGUES

Ugh! I just totally amazed on how they come up with such a heart-breaking lines/dialogues. You can really feel the pain and all you can do is to cry and cry. But you can also feel the kilig because of the cheesy lines from the couples in the drama.
Spoiler: Expect a lot of cheesy and romantic lines from this TV series (mauumay kayo sa dami)specially from Song Joong Ki's character :)

Well who couldn't resist the hotness of Special Force's Team Alpha? Parang gugustuhin ko na pumasok sa military camp kung ganyan ang makikita ko everyday hahaha. They totally add the spice to the drama. Sending lots of love to Big boss, Wolf, Snoopy, Harry Potter and Piccolo (I'm sure DOTS fans can surely relate to this).

And last but not the least

Song Joong Ki and Jin goo's BROMANCE

Gosh this dumb and dumber tandem captivate the hearts of the female viewers. Just blame it to their handsome looks. If you finished watching the series, hindi pwedeng hindi ka naaliw sa bromance nung dalawa? Their solid tandem brings a comedic side to the whole show. I just love them so much pero mas mahal ko pala si Jin goo. I love you Sergeant Major Seo! Can someone please give me a man like Seo Dae Young? Hahaha.
